Yes, you may request specific denominations. The team will try its best to source the requested denominations however, if unavailable you will receive a mixture of high and low denominations depending on the currency you ordered.
The rates you see on google or XE are most often referred to as mid-rates (also known as interbank rates). It is the rate at which banks trade large sums of foreign currency with one another. At Foreign Xchange, we use reputable online sources to provide you with the best exchange rate which is inclusive of our markup fee.
Apart from the postage fees (which covers transit and warranty), Foreign Xchange does not charge any additional fees or commissions. We believe in transparency unlike other businesses which display favorable rates to advertise, the rate which you see on our website is the rate you actually get and does not incur any additional fees. Our exchange rates are inclusive of our markup fee.
We use a secure courier service provider, StarTrack – a business by AusPost. This service has complete tracking information available on StarTrack website and also a comprehensive customer support service.
Customer mobile number and email address, provided while placing the order; will receive tracking notifications from the courier service provider.
To keep your money safe our delivery partners and agents will only release your order upon successful ID verification. For this, you will be required to provide us with your full name and date of birth as displayed on the identification document submitted. So as to ensure there are no issues while delivery or pick up.

Usually, 99% of our orders are delivered on or before time. However, delivery dates are an estimated calculation and not guaranteed due to certain operational and logistical situations out of our control. If this is a last minute purchase or you require your foreign currency urgently, please let our staff know within 24 hours of the order placed and they will try their best to accommodate the request and advise you accordingly.
Orders can be delayed due to following reasons:

Yes, once the payment is credited in our nominated bank account, you will receive an email confirmation notifying the funds have been received.
Our bank is capable of receiving OSKO Payments (fast transfer) – however, some financial institutions keep a security hold of 24Hrs when transferring funds to a new payee. Unfortunately, this is something which we are unable to control and will delay the shipment of your order by 1 business day.
Unfortunately at the moment Bank Transfer is the only mode of payment available on our website. The team is working towards adding more payment options. Please stay tuned.
We do not accept payments via international bank accounts/transfers. All payments should be made via an Australian bank only.
We strongly recommend making the payment as soon as you place the order. Delay in payment will result in rescheduling of pick up/delivery timeframe. Unpaid orders will be canceled after 48 Hrs from the time the order is placed.
If the order is unpaid, and you wish to cancel the order – please contact the Foreign Xchange Team via email at firstname.lastname@example.org and the team will assist in cancelling the order. If the order is paid, there will be a small cancellation fee.
Please contact the team via email email@example.com for details on how you can sell / offload the remaining foreign currency after your trip. Please note the exchange rates for selling foreign currency will be different from the BUYING rates on our website. Additionally, there will be a postage fee wherever applicable.
Yes, each order has a limit of AU$9999. If you wish to purchase more, request you to place multiple orders on our website and make the payment at the earliest.
*Please note uploading/providing a valid ID is mandatory for these orders, Without proper valid ID, your order will not be processed and will result in cancellation of your order and a small cancellation fee will be applicable if the payment for the order has been received.
How it Works
- Place an order online on our Website
- Select the destination currency you wish to purchase and enter the currency value or AUD amount in either of the text box – the system will round off to the nearest and smallest available denomination
- Then, click from a range of postage options available
- Complete the Online Form (keep a valid form of identification handy – Drivers License or Passport)
- Make sure to fill in all fields and tick wherever applicable – then, click ‘Next’
- Review all the details – to edit click ‘Back’ or to proceed click ‘Complete Order’
- After you have completed the online form and placed an order – you will get an email confirmation with order details, secure link to upload ID and instructions on how to pay.

Once you have uploaded the identification document and made the payment – you will receive an email confirmation that we have received your payment and your order is being processed.
Once the order is processed and prepared for dispatch, Foreign Xchange team will send you courier tracking details to track the movement of your order.
