Secure Dispatch & Delivery

All orders are securely counted, packaged, sealed, and dispatched using reputable third-party delivery providers.

Delivery may be made to:

  1. The nominated residential delivery address; or

  2. An authorised collection location selected during checkout.

Customers are responsible for ensuring all delivery and contact information provided is accurate and complete.

Foreign Xchange is not liable for delays, failed deliveries, or losses resulting from inaccurate customer information or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Delivery Timeframes & Courier Delays

Foreign Xchange aims to dispatch approved orders within the estimated processing and delivery timeframes displayed on the Site. Any stated delivery or processing timeframe is an estimate only and is not guaranteed.

Delivery services are performed by independent third-party courier providers, including but not limited to StarTrack and Australia Post.

Foreign Xchange is not responsible for delays, disruptions, or failed deliveries caused by:

  1. Courier or postal network disruptions;

  2. Weather events or natural disasters;

  3. Public holidays or peak seasonal demand;

  4. Customs, aviation, or transport disruptions;

  5. Remote or regional servicing limitations;

  6. Industrial action or labour shortages;

  7. Security or regulatory screening requirements;

  8. Incorrect customer information; or

  9. Events outside our reasonable control, including force majeure events.

Customers should not rely on estimated delivery dates for urgent travel or time-sensitive commitments.

Foreign Xchange will not be liable for indirect, consequential, travel-related, accommodation, exchange rate, business, or opportunity losses arising from delayed deliveries.

Completion of Delivery & Transfer of Transit Risk

An order will be deemed delivered once the delivery provider confirms successful delivery to:

  1. The nominated delivery address;

  2. The authorised recipient;

  3. The nominated collection point; or

  4. Any location authorised by the customer.

Once delivery has been confirmed by the delivery provider, Foreign Xchange’s transit responsibility ends and all risk of loss, theft, tampering, damage, or misplacement passes to the customer.

Disputes Regarding Parcel Contents

If you believe your parcel contains missing, incorrect, or damaged currency, you must:

  1. Notify Foreign Xchange within 24 hours of the recorded delivery or collection time; and

  2. Provide clear and continuous video evidence showing:

  • The unopened parcel with labels and seals intact;

  • The complete opening process in a single uninterrupted recording; and

  • All currency and denominations contained inside.

Foreign Xchange reserves the right to request additional evidence or supporting information to investigate any claim.

Claims submitted outside the required timeframe or without adequate supporting evidence may not be accepted or investigated.

Lost in Transit Parcels

While extremely rare, parcels may occasionally be delayed or lost while in transit with third-party delivery providers.

Where a parcel is confirmed as lost in transit before successful delivery confirmation, Foreign Xchange may assist the customer by initiating investigations with the relevant courier provider and, where applicable, lodging insurance claims.

Any reimbursement, replacement, refund, or remedy offered by Foreign Xchange will be assessed having regard to:

  1. Courier investigation outcomes;

  2. Proof of dispatch and delivery records;

  3. Insurance assessments;

  4. Tracking and GPS data; and

  5. Applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Foreign Xchange’s liability for parcels confirmed as lost in transit is limited to the original purchase amount paid for the affected order.

Foreign Xchange is not responsible for losses occurring after delivery confirmation has been recorded by the courier provider.

Order Cancellations

Orders may only be cancelled before dispatch confirmation.

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled, amended, or withdrawn.

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

Once an order has been dispatched, any cancellation request will be treated as a returned order and assessed in accordance with the Returned Orders & Refused Deliveries section of these Terms.

Returned Orders & Refused Deliveries

Foreign currency is purchased, sourced, allocated, and/or reserved specifically to fulfil a customer’s order and is subject to exchange-rate fluctuations and wholesale-market pricing.

Where a customer:

* refuses delivery;
* fails to collect an order from an authorised collection location;
* requests a return after dispatch; or
* otherwise causes an order to be returned in any circumstances to Foreign Xchange,

Any refund will only be assessed after the returned currency has been received, verified, and reconciled by Foreign Xchange.

Foreign Xchange reserves the right to deduct from any refund:

* outbound delivery and handling costs;
* return delivery costs;
* bank charges and transaction fees;
* administrative and reconciliation costs;
* currency conversion losses;
* losses arising from wholesale repurchase rates;
* exchange rate movements occurring after the original order was placed; and
* any other reasonable costs incurred as a direct result of the return.

Any applicable deductions will be calculated at the time the returned currency is received and reconciled.

Customers acknowledge that foreign currency is not a standard retail product and that the value of foreign currency may fluctuate between the original order date and the date of return.

Refunds

Approved refunds will generally be processed back to the original payment source used for the transaction.

Refund processing times are subject to banking system processing and financial institution timeframes outside Foreign Xchange’s control.

Foreign Xchange may deduct applicable delivery, administrative, banking, or processing costs from refund amounts where permitted by law.

Maximum Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Foreign Xchange’s maximum liability in connection with any order or transaction is limited to the original purchase amount paid by the customer for that order.

Foreign Xchange will not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, punitive, business, travel, accommodation, exchange rate, opportunity, or economic losses.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot legally be excluded.
